
McLeod Leads Falcons Past Buffalo, 85-73

AMHERST, N.Y. (AP) - Keith McLeod scored a career-high 42 points to lead Bowling Green to an 85-73 win over Buffalo in the Mid-American Conference on Saturday.
McLeod went 17-of-18 from the foul line as the Falcons (13-1, 3-0 MAC) extended their winning streak to 12 games. Len Matela added 14 points and 12 rebounds for Bowling Green.
The Falcons held a 37-35 lead at the half before opening the second half with a 10-3 run.
Buffalo (8-7, 3-2) cut the lead to 63-60 with 8:38 left on a basket by Darcel Williams, but the Bulls never got any closer.
Williams led Buffalo with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Louis Campbell had 18 points for the Bulls, while Turner Battle added 12.
Bowling Green has never lost in seven games against Buffalo.
