BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) - Len Matela with 26 points led Bowling Green to its 11th straight victory, 91-61 over Northern Illinois on Tuesday night.
Cory Ryan came off the bench to score 16 points for the Falcons (12-1 overall, 2-0 Mid-American Conference). Keith McLeod hit five 3-pointers for 15 points, and Brandon Pardon scored 10 points and had a career high 14 assists.
Leon Rodgers scored 27 and Eugene Bates 10 for the Huskies (4-8, 1-3).
Bowling Green went 18-for-29 from the floor for 62.1 percent in the first half while limiting Northern Illinois to 8-for-21 for 38.1 percent. The Falcons led 41-22 at halftime.
For the game, Bowling Green was 35-for-60 for 58.3 percent and Northern Illinois 21-for-53 for 39.6 percent.
