Volleyball Defeated By Toledo, 3-1

Two Falcon netters scored double-digits in the kill department in Bowling Green's loss to the University of Toledo Wednesday (Oct. 2). BG dropped the contest in four games, 28-30, 26-30, 31-29, 20-30, despite 14 kills from Susie Norris and 13 slams from Kristin Gamby. The Falcons drop to 0-3 in the MAC, while Toledo improves to 2-0.
However, a few bright spots did emerge from the loss. Norris notched yet another double-double performance with 23 kills in addition to her front court performance. Gamby, the only senior on the BG roser, blocked 6 balls to lead both teams. Bridget Protas and Laura Twyman also played solid net defense compiling five and four blocks, respectively. Junior setter Sara Sikorski dished out 42 assists during the match.
The BGSU volleyball squad will return to Anderson Arena this Friday, October 4 to take on conference foe Western Michigan at 7:00 p.m.
