David DeGraff: BGSU Scholar-Athlete Of The Week

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - David DeGraff is the Bowling Green State University Scholar-Athlete of the Week. DeGraff, a junior on the BGSU men's soccer team, had five saves to earn the shutout as the Falcons opened Mid-American Conference play with a 3-0 win over Buffalo Sunday (Sept. 29).

For DeGraff, the shutout was his first of the year and his first since beating UB in triple overtime in last season's MAC Tournament. DeGraff, a native of Naperville, Ill., now has 12 career shutouts.

The Falcons are 1-8-0 on the season, but 1-0-0 in MAC play, heading into a Friday (Oct. 4) match at Northern Illinois.

DeGraff maintains a 3.21 cumulative GPA as a criminal justice major.
