Kent State Head Coach Dan Pees:
"That (Bowling Green) was an excellent football team. Going through the week, I thought we had a good attitude going in, but we made too many mistakes to survive."
Bowling Green Head Coach Urban Meyer:
"It's a great win, it's our eighth this season. 11th straight. I'm proud of it. Josh Cribbs is a fantastic player, coming off the injury, what a competitor he is. He's a tremendous quarterback. Our kids have nothing but respect for him, and even more respect coming out in this weather on the turf."
"We gave up 251 rushing yards. If we do that next week we won't win that game."
"Joe Alls ran exceptionally well. This was one of his better games, I think he played fantastic. We've got two good running backs and an athletic quarterback who's a good thrower. Right now offensively I think we're difficult to defend."
"They (the Bowling Green defense) caused a bunch of turnovers, we had four interceptions and one fumble. I think when you're hitting people and playing aggressively you're going to cause more turnovers. One of the things we need to do to win is win the turnover battle, we did that today. I'm very disappointed that we didn't stop the run well today. Next week we play one of the best rushing teams in the MAC (Northern Illinois)."
"There was no way I thought Josh Cribbs could come back from that injury (hamstring). I was suprised at first but not once he got going, cause that's how much respect we have for him as a football player."
