BGSU Men's Golf Signs Brad Dearsman

Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green State University men's golf coach Garry Winger recently announced the signing of Brad Dearsman to his recruiting class of 2003-04. Dearsman is a native of Clyde, Ohio and attends Clyde High School.
Dearsman has been a three-time Sandusky Bay Conference first-team member, as well as the conference MVP the past two seasons. He was a first-team Division II Northwest District selection the last two seasons (2001 and 2002) as well as a second-team member his freshman year (2000).
He was a state individual qualifier in 2001, placing 17th (75-74--149), while finishing sectional and district runner-up. He was the sectional medalist in 2002. In 2001, he was named Lake Erie Junior Golf Association Player of the Year.
Dearsman has set Clyde school records for conference average per nine holes (36.25) and conference match (31) in 2002.
As a team, the Fliers finished second at the sectional championship in 2002 and won the Fostoria Invitational in 2001.
Dearsman is a member of the National Honor Society, Key Club, Varsity "C", Science Club and Spanish Club.
He is the son of Roger and Christine Dearsman.
