Women's Swim Team Defeats Northern Illinois University; Falls To Akron

The Bowling Green Women's Swimming and Diving teams defeated Northern Illinois University 154-85, but fell to host Akron, 136-106 last Friday.
Top performers for the Falcons were sophomore Jessica Humes, junior Kelley O'Hara and freshman Sarah Agnew. Humes placed first in both the 500 Yard Freestyle (5:11.72) and the 1000 Yard Freestyle (10:44.46). O'Hara earned a first place mark with a time of 1:57.18 in the 200 Yard Freestyle, while freshman Agnew placed first in the 200 Yard Breaststroke (2:26.60) and second in the 400 Yard IM (4:38.30).
The Falcons return to action February 28 through March 2 at the MAC Championships to be held in Ypsilanti, Mich.
