BGSU Men's Golf Finishes T-7th at Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational

Yorktown, Ind. - The Bowling Green State University men's golf team finished tied for seventh place out of 15 teams at the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational this weekend, hosted by Ball State University in Yorktown, Ind. The Falcons finished with a team score of 881, tied with the host Cardinals and Western Kentucky.
Austin Peay won the 54-hole tournament with a score of 856, followed by Eastern Kentucky (859), Ohio Univ. (864), Wright State (871), Indiana (872) and Akron (880).
BGSU's Austin Chase was the low Falcon scorer. The sophomore carded a 219 and finished tied for 23rd. Senior Andy Miller finished with a 220 (T-28th), followed by Bud Ziglar (T-30th, 221), Christopher Leake (T-37th, 223), and Craig Pickerel (T-63rd, 228).
Bowling Green travels to Eastern Kentucky next weekend (Sept. 28-29) for the EKU Colonel Classic in Richmond, Ky.
