Junior-Transfer Paul Dhaliwal Named MAC Player of the Week

Cleveland, Ohio - Bowling Green State University junior-transfer Paul Dhaliwal was named this week's Mid-American Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week after recording two goals in Sunday's win over Buffalo (3-0).

The two goals were Dhaliwal's first of his collegiate career. The native of Edmonton, Alberta, scored BGSU's second and third goals in the first win of the season for the Falcons. He is the first Falcon this season to notch two goals in one game.

Also, Dhaliwal becomes the first non-goalkeeper from BGSU to win Player of the Week honors by the league office since All-American Chris Dore was POW on Oct. 18, 1999.
