Huntington, W.V. - Marshall's Karim Boukhemis scored the game's only goal in the 41st minute as the Herd defeated Bowling Green, 1-0, Friday night in Huntington, W.V.
Marshall held a 14-8 shot advantage in the game, including 8-2 in the first half. BGSU's David DeGraff recorded nine saves in the game while Marshall's Chris McKinney earned the shutout with five saves.
BGSU evened the shots in the second half, 6-6, with Paul Dhaliwal leading the Falcons with three shots in the game.
The Falcons fall to 2-3 in the Mid-American Conference and 6-7-3 overall. BGSU plays its final league contest on Sunday, Oct. 26, when its hosts Western Michigan at Mickey Cochrane Field. Start time is scheduled for 2 p.m.
