MOUNT PLEASENT, Michigan - The Bowling Green State University volleyball squad dropped a three-set match to Central Michigan, Saturday night (26-30, 25,30, 20-30) inside Rose Arena. Junior Taylor Twite led the way for the Brown & Orange with a team-high 16 kills, as well as a .480 hitting percentage.
Junior Amber Mareski posted 31 assists to lead the team, to go along with a .333 hitting percentage.
Senior Susie Norris was second on the team with seven kills and led the team with six digs.
Seniors Samantha Rennau and Nadia Bedricky as well as juniors Melissa Mohr and Bridget Protas all added at least four kills.
Central Michigan was led by Meghan Moore (16 kills) and Emily Lovejoy (13 kills) and hit .345 as team.
With the loss the Falcons fall to 11-12 overall and 3-6 I the MAC, while Central Michigan continues their hot play, standing at 11-11 overall and 5-4 in MAC action.
BGSU is off until next Friday, when they travel to Ohio University on Halloween night. The match is set for 7:00 p.m.
