Falcons Finish 8th at Wolverine Invitational

The Bowling Green women's golf team finished eighth with a three-round score of 1,058 at the Wolverine Invitational, hosted by the University of Michigan this weekend. Host UM won the nine-team tournament with a score of 943.
Leading the way for BGSU was senior Jenny Schnipke who finished tied for 20th overall with a 54-hole score of 252 (86-83-83). Freshman Kari Liggitt finished tied for 34th place with a score of 261 (90-80-91). Other Falcons competing were Julie Wise (42nd, 270), Amanda Schroeder (45th, 275), Kari Evans (51st, 295), and Karen Binzel (54th, 303).
The Falcons conclude their fall season next weekend (Oct. 11-12) when they compete in the Nittany Lion Invitational, hosted by Penn State, in University Park, Pa.
