PEORIA, Ill. (AP) - Phillip Gilbert scored 23 points as Bradley beat Bowling Green 69-56 Saturday.
James Gillingham scored 17 points and Marcellus Sommerville added 15 for Bradley (4-1). Point gouard Marcello Robinson pulled down seven rebounds and had eight assists - both team highs for Bradley.
The Braves took a 36-26 lead at the half and then outscored Bowling Green by three points in the second half.
Bowling Green (2-1) was led by Kevin Netter with 17 points. Ronald Lewis and Steven Wright each scored 12. Lewis led Bowling Green with seven rebounds.
