Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green State University seniors Josh Harris and Janssen Patton both earned All-American recognition this past week. Harris was named honorable mention All-American by Collegefootballnews.com and Patton was honored by Collegefootballnews.com and CNNSI.com. It marks the first time since 1959 that BGSU has had two football All-Americans in the same season (Bernie Casey and Bob ZImpfer).
Harris joins Mark Miller (1977, Argosy) as the only quarterback in Falcon history to earn All-American recognition. He threw for a school record 3,427 yards and 24 TD, rushed for 762 yards and 12 TDs and set another BGSU record with 4,189 yards of total offense.
