Wingrove Signs Free Agent Deal With The New York Jets

New York, New York - Former Bowling Green State University defensive lineman Ryan Wingrove has inked a free agent deal with the New York Jets. Wingrove, who was in training camp in 2002 with the Atlanta Falcons, is coming off a stellar season with the Berlin Thunder of NFL Europe.
In 10 games with Berlin, Wingrove finished fourth on the team with 41 tackles and was eighth overall in the entire league with 4.5 sacks.
Wingrove, a 6-3 270-pound defensive tackle from Parkersburg, WV, recorded 112 tackles, 14.5 sacks, one fumble recovery, and two forced fumbles in three seasons for the Falcons. He joins former teammate Khary Campbell as a member of the Jets organization.
