Buffalo Takes The Win From BGSU In Overtime, 2-1

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Bowling Green, still looking for their first win of the season, gave all they had today at home against Buffalo. What looked to be a promising game for the Falcons ended in a 2-1 victory for the Bulls of Buffalo in overtime.
The first half between the Bulls and Falcons was scoreless with both teams about equal as far as shots. Buffalo ended the first period with eight shots and Bowling Green with six.
Omari aldridge, who now leads the team with three goals and 10 shots on goal, gave the Falcons their 1-0 lead after finding the net off a cross from Greg Hennelly at the 70:42 mark.
In what looked to be a 1-0 victory for the Falcons was soon taken away by Buffalo's Mirnes Biscevic with an unassisted goal at the 82:44 mark. Thus, sending the Bulls and the Falcons into overtime.
At the 91:41 mark, Buffalo ended it early as a cross by Jeff Martink found teammate Mirnes Biscevic who produced his second goal of the match and ended the game at 2-1 in favor of the Bulls.
The next match for the Falcons will be on the road as they travel to Lexington, Kentucky on Friday (Oct. 15) to take on the Wildcats of Kentucky at 7:30 p.m.
