Falcon Women Listed in Regional Rankings

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University women's cross country team has broken into the regional rankings. The Falcons of head coach Cami Wells are ranked 15th in the Great Lakes Region by the Womens Intercollegiate Cross Country Coaches Association (WICCCA) in the latest poll, dated Sunday (Oct. 17).
The Falcons are coming off a first-place finish at the team's own Falcon Invitational on Saturday (Oct. 16). BG placed five runners among the top 13 finishers to win that race.
On Saturday, senior co-captain Melissa Krueger placed fifth overall, while freshman Jamie Roflow was sixth in the 52-woman race. Elise Gould was ninth, Kim Settle 12th and Nicole Suitor 13th.
The Falcons are idle from competition until the Mid-American Conference Championships. The league meet, hosted by Toledo, will be held on Saturday, Oct. 30.
