Falcons Take Out Central Michigan 38-14

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. (AP) - Omar Jacobs threw for 387 yards and four touchdowns on 31-of-42 passing to lead Bowling Green to a 38-14 win over Central Michigan.
Three of Jacobs' scoring passes went to Steve Sanders, who finished with 107 yards on six catches for the Falcons (3-2, 1-1 Mid-American).
Jerry Seymour led Central Michigan (2-3, 1-1) with 205 total yards - 50 on five catches and 155 on 28 carries to lead all rushers. Seymour has ran for more than 100 yard in nine of last 10 games.
P.J. Pope put Bowling Green up early with a 1-yard run. Central Michigan answered with a 25-yard run by Jemmy Jasmin, but the Falcons went on to score 21 unanswered points on Sanders' TDs to take a 28-7 lead in the third quarter.
Jacobs - who also led Bowling Green rushers with 75 yards on 11 carries - connected with Sanders for 25, 16 and 4 yards before the Chippewas got back on the board on a 4-yard run by quarterback Kent Smith. Smith finished 17-for-20 for 181 yards with two interceptions.
Bowling Green added a 10-yard pass from Jacobs to Cornelius McGrady and a 35-yard field goal by Shaun Suisham in the final quarter.
Cole Magner led the Falcon receiving corps with 113 yards on nine catches.
