BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) - Josh Almanson scored 22 points and John Reimold had 19 points and nine rebounds as Bowling Green built an early lead and went on to beat Bradley 81-65 Saturday.
Almanson and Reimold hit 3-pointers on consecutive possessions to give Bowling Green (2-1) a 6-5 lead with 18:27 to play in the first half, and the Falcons never trailed again.
The Falcons' Steven Wright scored all but two of his 16 points in the second half, including seven points during an 11-2 run that gave Bowling Green a 55-41 lead with 13:15 to play. After the run, the Falcons maintained a double-digit lead until the end of the game.
Lawrence Wright led Bradley (2-1) with 16 points. Patrick O'Bryant had 12 points, eight rebounds and five blocks, and Marcellus Sommerville added 11 points.
John Floyd added eight assists and three steals for Bowling Green.
