Falcon Golfers Third After Day One

Charleston, S.C. - The Bowling Green men's golf team currently sits in third-place following Monday's two rounds at the Southern Kick-off Classic at Coosaw Creek in Charleston, South Carolina. Competing in their first tournament of the spring season, the Falcons finished the day with a two-round score of 609.
Four Falcons are among the top 20 individuals of the tournament. Sophomore Adam Cordes is pacing the Falcons with a 36-hole score of 151, nine-over par (11th place). Sophomore Heath Ziglar is 14th with a two-round total of 152, 10-over par.
Sophomore Tommy Lopez is 17th (153) while senior Adam Balls is 20th (154). Junior Craig Pickerel (31st) finished the day with a score of 157.
Host Charleston Southern is currently leading the 12-team tournament with a two-round score of 598, followed by Western Carolina with 604.
The third and final round takes place today.
