Citrus Springs, Fla. - The Bowling Green State University women's golf team is 12th out of 16 teams after day one of the Lady Herd El Diablo Intercollegiate, hosted by Marshall Univeristy in Citrus Springs, Fla.
The Falcons have a team score of 331 after just over one round of golf. The second 18 holes were suspended due to lightning at around 6 p.m. last night, with teams having 4-6 holes to make up this morning before the final round gets underway.
Leading BGSU is senior Jenny Schnipke with a score of 78 (T-17th). Other Falcons are freshman Kari Liggett (T-48th, 83), senior Julie Wise (T-50th, 84), sophomore Amanda Schroeder (66th, 86), and senior Kari Evans (89th, 93).
Action concludes today from Florida. Yale led heading into the final day of action with a score of 308.
