BGSU Women's Golf Finishes 9th at EKU Invitational

Richmond, Ky. - The Bowling Green women's golf team finished ninth out of 15 teams at the three-day, three-round Eastern Kentucky Invitational, held in Richmond, Ky. The Falcons finished with a team score of 1,001 (329-341-331). Individually, senior Jenny Schnipke finished tied for 11th place with a t hree-round score of 238 (75-85-78).
Murray State won the 15-team tournament with a score of 919.
Besides Schnipke, other Falcons competing were senior Kari Evans (T-50th, 254), senior Julie Wise (T-50th, 254), freshman Kari Liggett (T-56th, 256), and sophomore Amanda Schroeder (T-64th, 259).
The Falcons will complete their season next weekend (April 22-24) when they compete in the 2004 Mid-American Conference Championship, held in Hamilton, Ohio.
