Badenhop Earns Scholarships

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Three Bowling Green State University student-athletes have been awarded scholarships from the BGSU College of Business Administration. Burke Badenhop (baseball), Keeley Dayton (women's soccer) and Lindsay Heimrich (softball) have earned scholarships for the 2004-05 academic year.
One of fewer than 400 business schools accredited by AACSB-International, the Association to Advance College Schools of Business, the college has some 2,200 undergraduate students.
In addition to a bachelor of science degree in economics, 16 specializations leading to a bachelor of science in business administration are offered. Undergraduates also may take part in the Business Honors Program; international, co-op and internship opportunities, and any of six minor degree programs, including a new entrepreneurship minor.
The college also supports more than 20 student organizations which enables undergraduates to learn about careers and build their skills for success, meet alumni and business professionals, practice teamwork and leadership, and become involved in the community through service projects.
Roughly $140,000 in scholarships has been awarded to BGSU College of Business Administration students for the 2004-05 academic year.
Badenhop, from Perrysburg, Ohio (Perrysburg H.S.), was awarded the Lewis F. Manhart-Perry E. Lanning Scholarship, as well as the Dolores Reynolds Book Scholarship. Dayton, who hails from Tucson, Ariz. (Canyon Del Oro H.S.), was awarded the Bart James Latessa Memorial Scholarship. Heimrich, a native of Waterville, Ohio (Anthony Wayne H.S.), received an Alumni Book Award.
Badenhop will be a senior in 2004-05, while Dayton and Heimrich are rising juniors.
