BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Falcons dropped to 0-5-0 with a loss to the Wright State Raiders today at Mickey Cochrane Stadium.
The Raiders came into the game with a 1-1-0 record. Wright State's Ricky Strong led the team with three shots on goal. His first goal for the Raider's came at the 8:25 mark, asssited by Chris Riley.
Juan Vasquez assisted the next goal that was scored by midfielder Chris Riley for the Raiders.
At the end of the first half the Raiders had eight shots while the Falcons came up with only three. Tyler Dollins recorded three saves for the falcons. Leading the team with shots for the Falcons was midfielder Paul Seip.
At the 54:00 mark, Jason Tackis produced an unassisted goal for the Raiders, increasing their lead to three. Ricky Strong came back for the Raiders and used Dana York's assist to score his second of the evening.
Brandon Decker was able to obtain two saves for the Falcon's, but they were unable to stop the Raiders. Wright State out shot the Falcons 15-5.
Wright State took home the 4-0 win.
This Sunday the Falcons take on the Xavier Musketeers at Mickey Cochrane Stadium beginning at 2:00 p.m.
