
Falcons Pull Ahead Ball State

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Bowling Green hosted the Ball State Cardinals today at Eppler Complex. The Falcons were able to pull ahead with Jessica Guyer placing first in both of her events.
Guyer tied for first on the vault with a score of 9.775. She was also able to obtain a first place finish on the floor with a 9.850. Kristin DiPietro rounded out the event by placing third (9.750).
Bethany Kenel performed well on the beam for the Falcons, where she tied for first (9.775). DiPietro was able to tie for fourth with teammate Breanne Metzger (9.675).
Bowling Green dominated the bars with Kari Elste posting a 9.800 and Jessica Bradley with a score of 9.775 to tie her for second.
DiPietro was also able to bring home a third place finish in the all-around with a 38.625. Close behind her was Breanne Metzger who finished fourth in the all-around (38.300).
The Falcons will now prepare to travel to Mt. Pleasant, Michigan to take on Central Michigan on Jan. 23 at 2 p.m.
