
Bowling Green Drops Behind Miami, 186-111

OXFORD, Ohio - Bowling Green traveled to Oxford to face the Redhawks of Miami on Friday. Despite the strong performance from Caroline Keating, Erin Dilkes and Dana Schultz, the Falcons fell to the Redhawks 186-111.
Bowling Green's relay teams performed well with a second place finish from the 400 medley relay team of Brit O'Connor, Erin Dilkes, Dana Schultz and Stephanie Buckner (4:01.34).
Bowling Green was also able to capture the top two spots in the 800 free relays. First place finish was by Caroline Keating, Dana Schultz, Lauren McClave and Kara Ohngren with a time of 7:49.70. Taking second was the team of Jennifer Wright, Stephanie Buckner, Jessica Guinness and Amy Smith with a time of 8:03.42.
Caroline Keating posted a first place finish in the 200 free (1:53.59), 100 free (52.49) as well as the 500 free (4:59.84).
Erin Dilkes placed second in the 100 breaststroke (1:08.02) and 200 breaststroke (2:25.38).
Dana Schultz was also able to post top finishes for the Falcons with her first place finish in the 200 butterfly (2:06.25) and 100 butterfly (58.33).
The Falcons take on Ball State on Saturday Jan. 29 at 1 p.m.
