Falcons Go Down To Bradley, 93-64

Peoria, Illinois - The Bradley Braves jumped out to a quick lead on Saturday night and never looked back as they defeated the Bowling Green Falcons, 93-64, in front of 9,121 fans inside Carver Arena.
Despite turning the ball over 11 times and committing 16 fouls, the Falcons managed to trail by just 11 at the break. The deficit would have only been nine, but Zach Andrews powered home a massive dunk, just before the buzzer sounded.
Following the intermission, it was all Bradley. After a quick basket by Andrews, the Braves went on to outscore the Falcons by a margin of 41-25 over the final 19 minutes to claim the 29- point victory. Jeremy Crouch led Bradley with 18 while three others also posted double-figures in points.
Junior Martin Samarco once again the Falcons in scoring as he posted 27. The junior college All-American hit on 9-20 from the field and knocked down a trio of three-point field goals.
With the loss, the Falcons fall to 2-4 on the season and will play their next three games on the road, the first of which will take place next Saturday at Arkansas-Little Rock. Bradley goes to 3-1 with the win.
