BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) - John Reimold scored 28 points and made three foul shots in final seconds to help Bowling Green hold off Ball State 70-69 Wednesday night.
The Falcons (15-7, 9-5 Mid-American Conference) led by as many as 13 points in the second half before the Cardinals (12-10, 7-7) cut the lead to one with 1:07 to go on a 3-pointer by Dennis Trammell, who finished with 21 points.
Reimold made two foul shots with five seconds left and one more a second later to make it 70-66. Julien Mills hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer for Ball State.
Ball State shot 53 percent from the field to 47 percent for Bowling Green.
Josh Almanson scored 20 points for Bowling Green, the only other player in double figures for the Falcons.
Trammel made all seven of his shots from the field, including all three of his 3-point attempts.
Terrance Chapman scored 12 points, Peyton Stovall added 11 and Mills had 10 for the Cardinals.
