Falcons Fall to Nationally-Ranked Iowa, 7-0

MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The nationally-ranked University of Iowa won at each singles and doubles flight to defeat the Bowling Green State University tennis team, 7-0, Saturday afternoon (Feb. 19). The neutral-site match was held in at the Helfaer Tennis Stadium.
With the win, the #57-ranked Hawkeyes improve to 4-2 in dual play, while the Falcons drop to 6-3.
The Hawkeyes picked up three doubles victories to take the initial point, then won each of the six singles matches in straight sets.
The Falcons remain in Milwaukee for a Sunday (Feb. 20) road match vs. Marquette, the team's last match before beginning an eight-match homestand.
