Falcons Capture Youngstown State Invitational

The Bowling Green State University women's golf team shot a 615 for a first-place finish at the Youngstown State Invitational. One day one of the tournament the Falcons shot a 303, the best 18-hole score in school history.
Kari Liggett (78-76) and Jessica McCann (77-77) tied for second with a 36-hole score of 154, finishing one stroke off the lead, posted by Oakland's Christina Cibrario (153).
Other finishers for the Falcons included Lindsey Jonkhoff (155, T-6th), Carley Hrusovsky (156, T-7th) and Amanda Bader (160, T-15th).
Up next for the Falcons is the Ball State Invitational on Sept. 19-20.
