BGSU Baseball Will Host Pro Scout Day on October 2nd

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University baseball team will be hosting Pro Scout Day on Sunday, October 2nd. An awards banquet is also scheduled for this date.
There was a large showing of pro scouts last year and three Falcons were selected in the June MLB draft. Nolan Reimold was selected in the second round by the Baltimore Orioles. Burke Badenhop was taken by Detroit in the 19th round while the Tampa Bay Devil Rays added Josh Stewart in the 43rd round.
Sixty-yard dashes will kick off the event at noon, with a 1:00 p.m. intra-squad game marking the end of Pro Scout Day.
The 2005 Awards Banquet will follow Pro Scouts Day and will be held in the BGSU Ice Arena lounge.
