COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University Falcon Tennis squad fell to the Buckeyes of Ohio State University 7-0 at the Jesse Owens West Recreation Center. The Falcons lone victory came in the No. 2 doubles spot as Andrea Meister and Andrea Volle defeated Ciara Finucane and Kristin Messmer, 8-4.
In singles action, Jenna Nussbaum pushed the No. 2 singles flight to three sets before losing to Sonia Ruzimovsky, 6-2, 0-6, 6-4.
The Falcons will continue to battle the Big Ten January 27 when they travel to East Lansing, Mich. to face the Spartans of Michigan State University. The match will begin at 6:00 p.m.
