No. 25 BGSU Tops Texas-Arlington 59-48 in Caribbean Classic

CANCUN, Mexico (AP) - Ali Mann and Amber Flynn scored 16 points apiece to lead Bowling Green to a 59-48 win over Texas-Arlington in the Caribbean Classic on Wednesday.
The Falcons shot 50 percent from the field and 4-of-12 from the 3-point line in their smallest margin of victory this season.
Mann also had six rebounds and four assists for Bowling Green (8-2), and Liz Honegger added nine points and six boards. The Falcons outrebounded Texas-Arlington 34-30.
Tiffeny Riles and LaTosha Duffey led Texas-Arlington (4-7) with 12 points each.
The Mavericks shot 33 percent from the field and made 9-of-17 free throws.
Bowling Green finished the tournament 1-1 after losing 55-46 Tuesday to fourth-ranked Duke. Texas-Arlington also was 1-1, with a 58-54 win over Liberty on the opening day.
