BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Junior Kurt Wells's two-RBI double and a squeeze bunt by Senior Dash Yost gave the Falcons a 3-1 lead, which lasted until the eighth inning. However, a hit batsmen mixed with some bloop hits for the Crusaders led to a 4-3 come-from-behind win for Valpo, handing the Falcons their fifth straight loss after starting the season 6-0.
Junior Alan Brech continued his strong season by lasting six innings and allowing a lone run while scattering six hits. Senior Tyler Wasserman had a strong performance, compiling three hits. Sophomore Nick Cantrell falls to 2-1 after suffering the loss in relief.
