Men's Golf Finishes 16th At USF Invitational

TAMPA, Fla. - The Bowling Green State University men's golf team saved their best for last, posting a 297 team score in the final 18 holes on the USF Invitational in Tampa, Florida. The 297 was 16 strokes better then their 313 on day two, and was the 10th best score among the 18 team field.
For the tournament Dan McIntyre led the Falcons with a 31st place finish with scores of 79-72-74-225. Jace Walker (80-77-76-233, T-66th), Heath Ziglar (79-85-70-234, T-70th), Tommy Lopez (79-79-77-235, T-72nd), and Trevor Spathelf (83-86-77-246, 89th) all posted their best rounds of the tournament the final day of competition.
Up next for the Orange and Brown is the Birkdale Invite, scheduled to begin March 10-11 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
