BGSU Posts Season Best Marks at Virginia Challenge

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Bowling Green closed the second day of the Virginia Challenge with several season-best and personal-best performances, highlighted by Kiera Bonds inserting her name into the program's all-time triple jump list.
Five Falcons ran the 100-meter hurdles, all posting season-best marks. Morgan Patterson (14.28) and DaMya Barker (14.32) finished 15th and 16th, respectively, while freshman Viktorie Krizova posted a personal-record 14.75. Christabelle Obi clocked 14.78, and Jenna Lucas finished at 15.42.
Reagan Campbell (56.28) placed in the top 25 of a 72-athlete field in the 400-meter dash, while Tyyetta Herman finished in 57.42 and Syerra Greber in 57.85.
In the triple jump, Bianca Staples led BGSU with a season-best 12.23-meter attempt (12th place), while Bonds posted a personal-record 12.05-meter jump that ties for sixth all-time in program history. Sabrina Imes rounded out the event with 11.70 meters.
The meet concluded with the 4x400-meter relay, where Campbell, Herman, Greber and Alexsia Davis combined for a seventh-place finish in 3:49.81.
Bowling Green will split again next week for the Clark Wood Invitational in Louisville from April 23-25 and the GVSU Big Meet in Allendale from April 24-25.
