BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Falcons managed to muster just one run under the lights on Tuesday night, losing 3-1 to Mt. St. Mary's. BGSU (6-2) out-hit the Mountaineers eight to five, but stranded seven runners on base.
Mt. St. Mary's struck first wth a run in the third. The Mountaineers went up 3-0 after a pair of runs in the fourth inning, one unearned. With runners on first and second, Senior Jay Threet hit an RBI-single that scored Senior Tyler Wasserman in the seventh. However, the Falcon rally ended there.
Bowling Green will take a break on Wednesday before getting back to action with a double-header against Holy Cross on Thursday, March 9th beginning at 3:00 PM.
