BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - After a pair of non-conference wins earlier this week, Bowling Green gets back to MAC action with a weekend series against Central Michigan (15-13, 4-2, MAC) beginning on Friday at 3 PM in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.
The Falcons have been red-hot lately, currently riding a six-game winning streak. Bowling Green's offense was extremely impressive in its last two wins, piling up 37 hits and 27 runs. Junior Eric Lawson is responsible for five doubles, a homerun, six RBI and a .962 slugging percentage to go along with his .654 batting average during the winning streak.
The Chippewas will remember Junior Alan Brech after he hurled 8.1 innings of shutout baseball in a start against them last season. The Brown and Orange took all three games from Central Michigan in 2005. Both teams enter Friday's contest with a 4-2 record in the MAC.
