Detroit Takes the First Win of the 2006 Falcon Classic

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - In the opening action of the 2006 Falcon Classic the Titans of the University of Detroit downed the Panthers of Eastern Illinois University, 1-0. UDM's Mark Djurovski scored at the 52:26 mark on a pass from Tristan Horvath.

Eastern Illinois' Brad Peters appeared to score in the first half, but the goal was not counted due to an offside penalty against the Panthers.

Detroit's next match will be Sunday at noon against Western Illinois, while Eastern Illinois will play BGSU at 2:00 p.m. An awards ceremony will follow the conclusion of the second match.
