BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Red-shirt freshman Cameron Hepple returns from a week-long hiatus boasting a 2-1 record with the Bahamian National team at the CONACAF World Cup Tournament. The team will move onto the next round, which will be held in November.
"It is an honor to have the chance to play with the National Team and represent the Bahamas," said Hepple prior to his departure.
The Bahamian Nationals posted victories over the Cayman Islands, 3-1, and the Turks and Caicos, 3-2. Their single loss was a 6-0 shut-out at the hands of Cuba.
After red-shirting last season, Hepple has seen action in two matches this season and has placed one shot on goal.
Hepple and the Falcons will travel to Columbus to face the Ohio State Buckeyes at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. Today's match will commence at 7:30 p.m.
