ATHENS, Ohio (AP) - Chris Bullock rushed for 114 yards and a touchdown and Freddie Barnes added two short scoring runs to lead Bowling Green to a 21-9 victory over Ohio on Saturday.
Bullock carried 21 times for his rushing total, scoring on a 5-yard run in the third quarter that gave the Falcons (3-2, 2-1 Mid-American Conference) some breathing room.
Barnes, who totaled 37 yards on 10 carries, scored on touchdown runs of 4 and 1 yards.
Ohio (2-3, 1-1) mustered only 54 yards on the ground on 32 attempts.
Matt Lasher kicked a 32-yard field goal and Rudy Sylvan caught a 23-yard touchdown pass from William Norwood to provide the Bobcats' points.
Austen Everson completed 19-of-32 passes for 164 yards with two interceptions for Ohio, while Bowling Green's Anthony Turner hit on half of his 18 passes for 77 yards with no interceptions.
After Bullock's touchdown, the Bobcats had the ball three more times. They were forced to punt it away twice and the other time Everson's pass was picked off by Loren Hargrove.
