Tyler Johnson Excels Over the Summer

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Senior Tyler Johnson was named to the NBC World Series All-American Team for his excellent play this summer for the Hays Larks of the Kansas Jay Hawk Collegiate League.
The Tipp City, Ohio native led the Larks to the 2006 Jay Hawk League Championship which qualified them for the NBC World Series held in Wichita, Kansas.
Johnson compiled a 2-0 record, allowing just one earned run on seven hits and one walk in 13 innings pitched while striking out 12 batters during the NBC World Series.
