BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University Falcons have earned the fourth overall seed in the Mid-American Conference post-season tournament and will host the fifth seeded Northern Illinois University on Tuesday, Nov. 13 at Mickey Cochrane Field. Game time has been set for 1:00 p.m. The announcement came from the MAC offices today, Nov. 6.
"Obviously, it is great to host, and not travel to, a play-in game this season," said head coach Fred Thompson.
"The intention was to play a tough non-conference schedule that would prepare us for conference play. The MAC is always tough, but this season it was extremely difficult with the addition of Hartwick; they helped us to raise the level of competition within the conference."
