TOLEDO, Ohio (BGSUFalcons.com) - The Bowling Green State University tennis team was victorious at every flight en route to a 7-0 victory over the University of Detroit Mercy Sunday afternoon (Feb. 11). The non-conference dual match was held at the Shadow Valley Tennis Club in Toledo.

The Falcons lost a total of just seven games in sweeping the three doubles matches. The team of junior Andrea Volle and freshman Katia Babina lost just a single game at the second flight, while the Falcons' top-flight duo of junior Jenna Nussbaum and sophomore Kelsey Jakupcin lost a total of only two games.
In third-flight action, the Falcon duo of senior captains Ashley Jakupcin and Erica Wolfe won an 8-4 decision over their Titan foes.
In singles play, BGSU lost a total of only 18 games in the sixth scored matches, including only four games in eight total sets at flights three through six.

Nussbaum, a tri-captain along with Ashley Jakupcin and Wolfe, breezed through her match vs. Amy Inman, winning by a 6-0, 6-0 outcome at the fourth flight.
