Roflow and Standback Recognized by the MAC

CLEVELAND - The Mid-American Conference announced it's 2007 Championship specialty awards today and Bowling Green's Jamie Roflow and Nicole Standback have been recognized for their efforts at last weekend's MAC Championships. Roflow was named as a first team All-MAC selection while Nicole Standback was named as a second team selection.
Roflow was the gold medal winner in the 5,000-meter run, the Falcon's second in the eleven-year history of the MAC Indoor Championships. She edged out the second place finisher by two seconds to win.
Standback was the Falcons other top-three performer. She won the silver medal in the 60-meter hurdles, her highest finish at the conference indoor meet in her four-year career as a Falcon. She also ran a personal-best time of 8.45 seconds.
Standback's time ranks #9 on the All-time conference championship list of fastest 60m hurdle times and her time also now ranks her #5 on the all time individual list in the 60m hurdles. Her time is the fastest ever run at an indoor conference championship by a Falcon athlete in the 60m hurdles.
Roflow's time ranks her #11 on the All-time conference championship list of the fastest 5000m times where she already held the #7 spot with her 5000m time from the 2006 championship meet. Jamie Ranks #6 on the all time individual list in the 5000m. Jamie now holds the two fastest 5000m times ever run at an indoor conference championship by a Falcon athlete.
