Johnson Receives MAC East Pitcher of the Week Honor

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Senior Tyler Johnson improved his season record to 3-0 after allowing just one run on six hits and two walks during an eight-inning stint against Le Moyne College in the Ball State Invitational. Johnson struck out five Dolphins in the 7-1 Falcon victory.

Johnson has lowered his season ERA to 1.17 after four starts which have included three times as many strikeouts as walks allowed (15:5).

The Falcons begin a five-game homestand Tuesday afternoon with a 2 PM matchup with Youngstown State, followed by a game against Oakland, also scheduled to begin at 2 PM. BGSU's conference schedule starts with a home series against Eastern Michigan beginning on Friday.
