Baseball Set For a Pair of Mid-Week Games

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University baseball team travels to Wright State (10-7) Tuesday, March 27 for a 5 PM showdown with the Raiders. Another non-conference affair follows on Wednesday as the Falcons play host to the visiting Spartans of Michigan State (7-8) Wednesday afternoon at 2 PM. Both games will be broadcasted by 88.1 WGBU and live stats will be available through the use of GameTracker.
BGSU holds a 24-21-1 lead in the all-time series with Wright State, but trails 3-5 all-time versus Michigan State. The Falcons defeated WSU at home, 13-6, last season. In their contest against the Spartans, the Brown and Orange dropped a 4-6 decision.
Bowling Green jumps back into Mid-American Conference over the weekend with a three-game series in Kalamazoo, Michigan against Western Michigan. WMU leads the all-time series, but BGSU took a weekend sweep of the Broncos at Warren Steller Field last season. Western Michigan won one of three games at Kent State last weekend to open their conference schedule.
