Sunday's Proposed Double Header at Akron Has Been Cancelled

AKRON, Ohio - Due to existing weather and field conditions, the decision has been made to cancel Sunday's conference double header at the University of Akron. Currently, Akron's field is under snow and conditions are not expected to positively change any time soon.
Bowling Green (19-6, 4-2) was one of a handful of MAC teams to participate in conference play on Friday and defeated Ohio in both game one and two. At other MAC sites, Ball State was defeated twice by Western Michigan and Miami split a pair with Northern Illinois.
On today's schedule, Toledo and host Ohio are the only MAC member squads expected to play.
Of this weekend's lost games none will be made up due to the Mid-American Conference weather policy.
