Bowling Green Heads to Toledo for Last Meet of the Season

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The women's track team will head to Toledo tomorrow for the Toledo Invitational and their final meet of the season before heading to the Mid-American Conference Championships next week.
The Falcons are coming off a very successful showing at the Hillsdale College "Gina" Relays, where they claimed one individual title (Jessica White, 100) and several second place performances (Lauren Bryant, discus; Nicole Standback, 100 hurdles; 4x800-meter relay team), as well as a third place finish in the shot from TaKarra Dunning.
Some Falcons, mainly the distance corp, will take the weekend off to train through for the MACs, which are set for Thursday May 10 through Saturday May 12 at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Field events begin at noon with the starting gun for the first running event set to shoot at 4 p.m.
