Jamie Roflow Receives Second Straight USTFCCCA All-Academic Award

METARIE, La. - Upcoming senior Jamie Roflow received her second straight U.S. Track and Field/ Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic award. She won the award for the first time in her career last season after qualifying for the NCAA Mid-East Regional in the 5,000-meters and 3,000-meter steeplechase.
The Cincinnati, Ohio, native maintains a 3.79 GPA while competing and had a very successful indoor and outdoor season for the Falcons. She won her first MAC Championship in the indoor 5,000-meters and finished fifth in the indoor 3,000. Outdoors, she qualified for the NCAA Mid-East Regional in the steeplechase. She won the event at the All-Ohio Championships and finished fifth at the outdoor MAC Championships. She also finished third in the 5,000-meters.
A total of 415 athletes from around the country were honored with the award. Honorees must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.25 and qualify for a NCAA Championships (indoor) or a Regional Championships during the outdoor season.
